[00:00:36] CHELSEY DONN: Hello,
[00:00:38] TREY GERRALD: Well, hi Chelsey and hello listeners. Welcome to Review That Review. We are the podcast that is dedicated to reviewing
[00:00:48] CHELSEY DONN: reviews
[00:00:51] TREY GERRALD: that excited voice is Chelsey Donn
[00:00:54] CHELSEY DONN: and that excited voice is Trey Gerrald.
[00:00:58] TREY GERRALD: And when our excited voices come together, we form
[00:01:02] VOICEOVER: The.
[00:01:06] TREY GERRALD: how exciting
[00:01:07] CHELSEY DONN: I'm so excited. Trey, you know what I'm most excited about to hear your Complaint Diva 'cause 'I. Know that you've just been coming from quite A' situation in real time. So 'I, don't know if you wanna complain about that. Not leading the witness, but 'I wanna give you the floor too.
[00:01:26] VOICEOVER: Lodge A' complaints.
[00:01:27] TREY GERRALD: All right, well, hello listeners. Um, it has now been 65 minutes since, uh, ChelseyBD and 'I started recording today's episode for you all. We had to be in A' live chat with technical support for the company that we use to record. None of this is interesting, but this is on top of the fact that 'I was out of town visiting my nephews for their.
Birthdays four and two respectively, and my husband and 'I had A' 5:00 PM flight. So we got to the airport at three and it kept getting delayed and delayed and delayed and delayed. We were told, because there was no captain for the plane.
[00:02:04] CHELSEY DONN: Nightmare.
[00:02:05] TREY GERRALD: Okay? And then it just got canceled outta nowhere. Like it was delayed like six times.
Right?
[00:02:10] CHELSEY DONN: so awful.
[00:02:12] TREY GERRALD: and, but 'I am so manic on my app, 'I saw that there was one more flight out in the evening. So 'I quickly got us on really fast. Like 'I 'I was even impressed with myself, but that was like, you know, A' 9:00 PM flight. Then that got delayed, delayed, delayed, delayed another six times and they were telling us that there was like thunder outside and there was A' mechanical issue on the plane, but they couldn't open the jet bridge to let the mechanical workers onto the plane because it was dangerous.
So we like were delayed until like 10 30 and then there were like good news, we're opening the jet bridge for maintenance. ChelseyBD literally three minutes later. Attention, bad news. We've had to close the gate again. Okay then. At 12 midnight, they canceled that flight. No more flights out. Attention. We are not rescheduling or rebooking any flights at this terminal.
You must go to the customer assistance, which is directly behind you. They had three agents. The line was like eight gates long.
[00:03:12] CHELSEY DONN: my God.
[00:03:14] TREY GERRALD: so it was crazy. So 'I was gonna Lodge this Complaint about airlines just canceling flights, and there's no concern for helping.
[00:03:23] CHELSEY DONN: Did you end up waiting in that line, or did you just call, like what did you do at that point?
[00:03:28] TREY GERRALD: Well, at this point it's like midnight, right? And 'I was like, why do we have to wait in the line? Like I'll literally call. So David waited in the line, 'I walked to another terminal, and 'I found another terminal that had one singular agent. And that line was even longer because 'I guess there was A' tornado that was due and.
Charlotte at four 30 in the morning and it was drizzling and we did see sporadic lightning. But 'I do know that planes can fly above lightning, but 'I understand that is like A' little risky. But apparently every flight in Charlotte was canceled. So
[00:04:03] CHELSEY DONN: You felt like Miranda Priestly.
[00:04:05] TREY GERRALD: mean 'I was sent, 'I sent you that gift,
[00:04:07] CHELSEY DONN: Prada? Yes.
[00:04:09] TREY GERRALD: Yeah.
'I. So 'I was sending it to
[00:04:10] CHELSEY DONN: gotta be something going out. Can 'I airlift her out of there?
[00:04:13] TREY GERRALD: but like, it's just maddening. We were literally at the airport for nine hours and like 'I. To have two flights canceled and then because it was quote unquote weather like they didn't offer us any voucher, any points back, any hotel, like they, it was just like the next flight 'I can get you
[00:04:30] CHELSEY DONN: so if it's weather, they don't have to offer you anything.
[00:04:33] TREY GERRALD: Right, but 'I was literally like, okay, the first one was because you didn't have A' captain. The second one was because of maintenance on the plane. So what do you mean weather? They're like, well, all flights out of Charlotte are canceled due to the thunderstorm. 'I was like, well, that's not what 'I was told.
So it's not the weather. So that was just very shady. 'I know 'I could talk about this forever, and everyone has these horror stories when it comes to flying and traveling and you know, it really just does go to show like 'I. Very much take for granted. Like we just hop on A' plane and go where we wanna go.
And like the plane scenario is only an issue when it's A' Complaint to Lodge because otherwise like it's just so commonplace as like A' form of travel. 'I don't even consider it, but it is
[00:05:15] CHELSEY DONN: that being said, 'I feel like it's been getting to be more and more of A' shit show as of late, like 'I have to take the first flight out because 'I just don't trust it. Otherwise, like that's my thing. It's like it's annoying 'cause 'I have to get up at like 2:00 AM but I'll do it.
[00:05:29] TREY GERRALD: Right. And we did get, thankfully 'I was, we were able to sleep at my sister's house, but then because everyone at the Charlotte airport was stranded, all of the Ubers and Lyfts and the local taxi companies were at capacity. So it was like the apps just kept saying, unavailable, unavailable, unavailable. So then we had to get like A' lock, super expensive lift.
'cause no one was trying to book the, you know, it was like, so, Bad. Anyway. 'I don't wanna harp on it, but then here we are 'I. Think maybe is Mercury in retrograde 'I? Don't know what that means, but like we literally just spent 65 minutes ChelseyBD and 'I trying to record this because we keep having this technical issue with this program that we pay money for.
[00:06:09] CHELSEY DONN: Everything is delayed. Everything is without compensation. Life
[00:06:15] TREY GERRALD: you, you wanna know what 'I don't wanna delay any longer? Is this online review that you have brought in because 'I don't want to talk about travel anymore. I'm so sick of
[00:06:23] CHELSEY DONN: Okay, 'I,
[00:06:24] TREY GERRALD: Um, if any of our listeners work for airlines, please call in and give me the tea. Like just share anything that might be useful when we're in this conversation and, and these emotions and feelings 'cause it's insanity.
Okay.
[00:06:37] CHELSEY DONN: 'I do know that the flight attendants don't get paid until the doors are closed on the plane.
[00:06:46] TREY GERRALD: were A'. Lot of flight attendants like sitting with everyone, which 'I found to very interesting.
[00:06:51] CHELSEY DONN: Yeah.
[00:06:52] TREY GERRALD: Well, ChelseyBD, should we do this show? Let's do it.
[00:06:55] CHELSEY DONN: Let's do it.
[00:06:58] VOICEOVER: Review, That, Review.
[00:07:03] CHELSEY DONN: As you know, we are your trustee, Review Queen. So we bring in reviews from the internet that we feel need to be inspected.
[00:07:10] TREY GERRALD: We read you the review, then we break it down and rate the impact of that review on A' scale from zero to five crowns. Now this is A' very regal process that we call
[00:07:21] VOICEOVER: Assess, That, Kvetch.
[00:07:23] TREY GERRALD: So ChelseyBD 'I must ask, what deliciousness are you inserting deep into our ear holes today?
[00:07:31] CHELSEY DONN: That
[00:07:31] TREY GERRALD: wrote that into the script while 'I was sitting on hour seven at the airport yesterday.
So 'I tried to write the grossest segue possible.
[00:07:40] CHELSEY DONN: That was, yeah, that was something. So speaking of long lines and waiting forever at places.
[00:07:46] TREY GERRALD: Mm-hmm.
[00:07:47] CHELSEY DONN: You know, there are certain places where we feel like this is sort of inevitable. One of those places is
[00:07:54] TREY GERRALD: A' Stadium.
[00:07:56] CHELSEY DONN: the D M V.
[00:07:57] TREY GERRALD: Oh my God. I've looked up DMVs before. Okay. Tell me,
[00:08:01] CHELSEY DONN: So this review is from Yelp. It's A' two star review of the Van Nuys, D M b.
[00:08:10] TREY GERRALD: Can you spell Van Nuys?
[00:08:11] CHELSEY DONN: Sure Van, like v A', N van. And then second word, NS, n u y s.
[00:08:19] TREY GERRALD: D M V is Department of Motor Vehicles Perfect
[00:08:23] CHELSEY DONN: That's right. So this review is written by, you know, an elite reviewer. 'cause you know, 'I love those elites named Kari with A'. K,
K A' R, 'I e,
last name f.
[00:08:39] TREY GERRALD: I've never seen Carrie spelled this way. 'I.
[00:08:41] CHELSEY DONN: 'I. Don't think 'I have either. 'I usually see it like Kerry. Like Kerry from Sex in the city. Yeah. Or even maybe like A'. Yeah, 'I was gonna say even A'. K E R R Y. Like yeah, but Kerry, well, although 'I, Kerry and Kerry are different, but that's neither here nor there. This review is written by Kerry F. So should we jump in?
[00:09:01] TREY GERRALD: 'I. Can't wait. Carrie, what you got for us
[00:09:04] CHELSEY DONN: What you got, Carrie? Here we go. This D M V is probably the oldest in the valley and is in desperate need of upgrades. They do A', fair job of corralling people, but it's in need of more seating. Thank God. The wait after receiving A' number in the first line was only an hour. 'I went, yeah. 'I went without an appointment to register my car, which 'I forgot to do.
'I was two days past my due date, never again. They also have A' machine for registration renewal, but you can't be past your due date standing room only packed in like sardines and prisoner to all of the smelly people needing baths.
[00:09:57] TREY GERRALD: No.
[00:09:58] CHELSEY DONN: Because getting A' seat is like owning A' Bitcoin. You don't wanna get up ever until your number is called.
Did 'I mention they have only two screens and you can barely hear the numbers being called. It's A' pretty stressful situation. So having sat for an hour before my number was called and just finishing my coffee before getting there, 'I had to pee so
bad. 'I.
[00:10:27] TREY GERRALD: oh no.
[00:10:29] CHELSEY DONN: O M G, the restroom was one of the most disgusting I've encountered in A'.
Long time urine everywhere on the floor, the fumes were vile. Felt like 'I was standing in an Andy Gump
[00:10:49] TREY GERRALD: what?
[00:10:51] CHELSEY DONN: 'I am tempted to call OSHA on them. No excuses for this when they are literally raping us in fees. Isn't this A' state run facility, all the billions you generate and you can't afford, A', janitor, or proper amounts of seating space?
Question mark. This place needs to be shut down and remodeled. Two stars. Are for the nice employees.
[00:11:26] TREY GERRALD: Wow.
[00:11:27] CHELSEY DONN: Everyone was pleasant that 'I encountered. Please, please make an appointment and don't come here without A' mask and hand sanitizer and don't bring anyone handicapped.dot, dot space. They cannot accommodate if you need to sit. And then they did include two photos of the bathroom. 'I can share my screen, although 'I, I'm afraid to do so, but 'I will, I'm gonna zoom in here. Definitely doesn't look good. Is really giving, like kind of no offense to gas stations, but like gas station bathroom vibes. Looks very dirty.
[00:12:12] TREY GERRALD: Yeah, but 'I don't, 'I can't distinguish what's going on with the sink. Why is the sink
[00:12:17] CHELSEY DONN: 'I. Think the sink is just like dirt, like it's just like dirt, like all around it. And like chipping or something?
[00:12:23] TREY GERRALD: It is interesting. This faucet here is like an old timey, like single spigot, but you can see two little metal plates on either side of the spigot where you would traditionally have A' hot and A' cold faucet.
[00:12:36] CHELSEY DONN: Oh, good observation. Yeah.
[00:12:39] TREY GERRALD: Then 'I do wanna just point out for anyone that's not on our Patreon and seeing the video here, the image, like it does look like gross black grout, an old gross toilet that's jutting out with like the piping, the metal piping exposed, and there is like A' littering of toilet paper everywhere. To be honest with you, 'I thought 'I would see puddles of pee based on the descriptive narrative '
[00:13:06] CHELSEY DONN: I. can't!, imagine the pee because of the way that the toilet paper is sticking to the floor.
[00:13:11] TREY GERRALD: 'I mean it isn't. Yeah. You can see like you wouldn't be able to pick up some of this toilet paper with one go. It would like disintegrate. But I'm gonna say something weird here. This isn't that offensive to me. This looks like A', very standard men's bathroom
[00:13:26] CHELSEY DONN: Interesting comment on the men's versus women's, but should we talk about Carrie?
[00:13:31] TREY GERRALD: Okay. Yeah, so 'I 'I had one of those, like, you know, like when you're in A' movie theater and you're in the like reclining seats and then the person behind you like grabs on the back and you start swooshing back with them and then they get up and then you like are ejected. 'I had that moment when Carrie was complimenting the pleasant employees, which 'I did not expect to hear in A' D M V
[00:13:54] CHELSEY DONN: Yeah.
[00:13:55] TREY GERRALD: But then that only is worthy of two stars. Now, 'I get that. They were, their comment was the, the whole review gets two stars only because they had pleasant employees. But I'm just saying, 'I was like, oh, 'I love that. They're ending with this positive thing about the personnel. And then 'I was like, wait, I'm really confused on the thesis here from Carrie.
Is that. 'I, this needs to be remodeled. Like it's such A' funny, like it's such A' funny, find ChelseyBD. 'cause it's like such A' weird, specific like gripe, like 'I understand that it's like dirty, but it's like the amount of times they talk about this is the. Oldest in the valley, what's going on? The screens are too little and you, there's only two you can't hear.
It's like there's not enough seating. People pee. There's vile, I'm gonna call osha, which 'I think OSHA is only when you're employed, you can't be A' customer and call osha.
[00:14:50] CHELSEY DONN: 'I did look it up. 'I did
[00:14:51] TREY GERRALD: Yeah. And then they end with like, this needs to be remodeled.
[00:14:55] CHELSEY DONN: But maybe like the OSHA was like they're standing up for the employees that work there that they need to like even be in this sort
[00:15:03] TREY GERRALD: Sure. Right.
[00:15:04] CHELSEY DONN: environment, right?
[00:15:06] TREY GERRALD: Also when Carrie first introduces this whole, like 'I finished my coffee, and then 'I had to pee. 'I was like, oh my God. The terror of like leaving the waiting room to go pee, and then your number gets called. But that isn't even where Carrie was going. Carrie then went into the nightmare of the vile smells
[00:15:23] CHELSEY DONN: Yeah, well 'I think it and also, but Carrie was saying like they didn't even, it's 'I think the bathroom situation happened at the end because they didn't want to get up from their
seat. Because once you have A' seat, it's like if you get up, like there's A' million people in line waiting for that seat.
[00:15:39] TREY GERRALD: and then 'I 'I think 'I might just be like too, not in the loop, but like 'I did not understand the Bitcoin analogy. 'I.
[00:15:47] CHELSEY DONN: Okay, so the Bitcoin analogy, 'I feel like has it, this is over two years old, so this is post pandemic. You know, it's so to have A' whole Bitcoin is worth A'. Lot of money,
[00:15:59] TREY GERRALD: So to have A' seat at the D M V is worth A'. Lot of money. 'cause they don't have enough seats. Okay, sure.
[00:16:03] CHELSEY DONN: Or was Donn. Don't know what's happening with crypto these days, but 'I do remember that, like at least A' couple years ago,
[00:16:09] TREY GERRALD: yeah, yeah.
[00:16:10] CHELSEY DONN: the value was very
[00:16:11] TREY GERRALD: know what 'I think the most glaring dropping of the ball when we talk about value, impact, deal breaker, typical common. The biggest offense here, Carrie does not tell us what time of day or which
[00:16:26] CHELSEY DONN: Ooh,
[00:16:26] TREY GERRALD: week they went, because if you really want to be making A' point, that will help other people tell me that you came at 3:00 PM on A' Tuesday.
[00:16:36] CHELSEY DONN: mean yes to just devil's advocate that A' little bit in terms of the takeaway value for me. Carrie's not really complaining about the weight. They're almost blaming themselves. They're saying, make an appointment because 'I didn't. And 'I had to wait an hour after waiting in line, which honestly was not even as bad as 'I thought.
So carrie's major Complaint here, contrary to most people's Complaint when they go to the D M V, which is the weight, right? It's always about the weight.
[00:17:05] TREY GERRALD: And the attitude
[00:17:07] CHELSEY DONN: And the attitude that comes with the weight carrie's not even complaining about that. If anything carrie's saying like, the weight is sort of on me because 'I didn't have an appointment, so I'm definitely gonna say, make an appointment because you don't wanna have to spend any more time in this environment.
[00:17:23] TREY GERRALD: A'. Good point. ChelseyBD. 'cause they even sort of say like, 'I only had to wait an hour. Like, which is remarkable.
[00:17:30] CHELSEY DONN: Right 'I. Think Carrie was like 'I went to the D M V 'I, understood 'I was gonna be waiting. 'I wasn't in A' Rush. Even the hour wait, whatever it was, was less than 'I anticipated. That's not even my problem. My problem is that
it's gross. And there was some queenly information, like if your registration wasn't expired and you went there, then she could have just
gone to the machine and been done.
But it was like her own fault that she won't ever do that again.
[00:17:56] TREY GERRALD: Yeah. 'I was curious, like, how do you forget to do that, Carrie? But whatever
[00:18:00] CHELSEY DONN: 'I mean it happens. 'I like 'I. 'I wanna validate that. 'cause 'I feel like, it's like you lose that piece of mail or you just like, it slips your mind.
[00:18:06] TREY GERRALD: So like 'I, do think that this is seeping in unique value
[00:18:12] CHELSEY DONN: Yeah. '
[00:18:12] TREY GERRALD: I roll my eyes when 'I think about A' D M V review and this
[00:18:17] CHELSEY DONN: Right,
[00:18:17] TREY GERRALD: like 'I. Doesn't even approach it. 'I mean 'I even was inferring it and you just reminded me that wasn't even prevalent in this review. Like, so it really is unique. This might be like the most unique approach to A' subject matter that's ever been brought in in the history of the show.
So that's like so exciting. But 'I also, we do have to sort of tackle this little dropping that Carrie. Throws in towards the ending here. And before we talk about the R word, 'I, do wanna talk about the fees? Because 'I think it's interesting to bring up the conversation about fees and then talk about how this is A' state run institution.
And like if we're paying all these fees, why is there p on the floor? Why is it not large enough to accommodate the people in this county? Like why are there not enough screens? Like why aren't there seats? Like, what's going on?
[00:19:04] CHELSEY DONN: By the way, do you know what Andy Gump was?
[00:19:07] TREY GERRALD: No. Is that someone from Forrest Gump?
[00:19:09] CHELSEY DONN: 'I. That's what 'I thought at first, but 'I just looked it up. So Andy Gump is like A' Porter Potty.
[00:19:16] TREY GERRALD: Oh,
[00:19:17] CHELSEY DONN: It's A' Porter potty company.
[00:19:18] TREY GERRALD: uh, is that like local to Van Nuys or something?
[00:19:21] CHELSEY DONN: don't know. 'I wouldn't have not known it if 'I hadn't looked it up, but that doesn't mean that other people won't.
[00:19:26] TREY GERRALD: Did they capitalize it?
[00:19:28] CHELSEY DONN: Yes.
[00:19:29] TREY GERRALD: Okay. Interesting.
[00:19:31] CHELSEY DONN: is Andy Gump, portable restrooms and luxury trailers. So maybe it's like A' industry thing. 'I don't really know, but
[00:19:38] TREY GERRALD: All right. And then obviously 'I think that they, you know, say the R word, which is sort of like unnecessary and like 'I. Don't think it's excusable. If this was written two years ago, like 'I think we all know, especially after the Me Too move movement. Like we
[00:19:51] CHELSEY DONN: not to just throw that around.
[00:19:53] TREY GERRALD: when we're talking about fees, but Donn don't know that it really dings anything for
[00:19:57] CHELSEY DONN: 'I know 'I mean. It was A'. Little bit like surprising when it happened. 'I think like it. It just like didn't really feel like it was really necessary. It definitely took the review into A'. Angry turn,
'I. That like we weren't really feeling before that. Like before that we were just feeling like, I'm gonna tell you the way it is.
Like this is gross. Do this, this, and this to avoid it. And then when we went there and then we went to the OSHA and then our Word us, it definitely took it to A'. More angered place, 'I.
[00:20:30] TREY GERRALD: 'I. Agree. Do you now, were you entertained, is there humor here aside from this one sentence here?
[00:20:36] CHELSEY DONN: 'I was entertained, 'I, think for similar reasons to what you're bringing up. Just because like 'I was expecting when 'I was going through D M V reviews to constantly be getting A', certain amount of complaining about the employees and A', certain amount of complaining about the other people that were there beyond just the smell factor, which 'I didn't really like mind.
I'm sure it is smelly, but 'I don't think that they, you know 'I. Don't know 'I. Just it. It was entertaining in that it stood out
amongst the other reviews for me.
[00:21:06] TREY GERRALD: and it defied my expectation, which is sort of interesting and exciting.
[00:21:09] CHELSEY DONN: Yeah. And 'I think that Carrie knows the assignment as an elite.
[00:21:15] TREY GERRALD: That's right. Spelling, A' grammar is good for the most
[00:21:17] CHELSEY DONN: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:21:18] TREY GERRALD: then truthful, shady
[00:21:21] CHELSEY DONN: 'I mean? What are they being shady about? Just like this, the location itself and like the bad bathroom 'I, mean 'I. Don't really think that's shady. 'I think
they did
[00:21:31] TREY GERRALD: you're right.
[00:21:32] CHELSEY DONN: A' compliment sandwich, you know, well, they didn't really sandwich it, but they, they threw A' compliment in there for the employees.
So 'I don't think that maybe it's like inanimate object building, but 'I don't think they're being shady to like the people that work there.
[00:21:47] TREY GERRALD: 'I think 'I. Can crown carry? How do you feel?
[00:21:49] CHELSEY DONN: 'I think 'I can crown. Carrie, should
we
[00:21:51] TREY GERRALD: right, let's do it. Yeah. So ChelseyBD and 'I each have our own set of zero to five crown cards and an effort to be fair and not influence one another. We will simultaneously reveal our rating.
[00:22:02] VOICEOVER: The Queens are Tabulating.
Go to school.
[00:22:10] CHELSEY DONN: Okay, the Queens are unanimous. Four and A' half crowns. Four. And A' half crowns. Trey, you go first. Why four? And A' half crowns for Carrie F.
[00:22:21] TREY GERRALD: You know, this is 'I 'I. Almost wanna say five, like 'I almost wanna make this A', Review. Queen 'I. Think the raping and fees is like A' little. It's just so like you, you could have said that with so many other vocabulary words. 'I. That it, like 'I just sort of feel like, eh, and I'm not, you know, 'I, just 'I feel like it's A' little unnecessary and they really like stuck the landing.
And so in many other places and 'I love that they included photos and 'I. 'I four and A' half. 'cause 'I think it really, as 'I said it, 'I. It's such A' unique perspective. It really is not what 'I thought we would be talking about today. And it's really funny and 'I appreciate that they really ying and yanged, they really talk about how pleasant the personnel was.
Which, you know, again, defying expectation, spelling, grammar was, was solid. It is sort of like enlisting in me that bring A' little portable stool and like make sure 'I have like. Sanitation gloves and they even say, bring A' mask. Like, be prepared to walk into like A' 1970s government building, uh, that needs to be remodeled.
Yeah. So that's why 'I said four and A' half, nearly, nearly Review Queen for me. ChelseyBD, why did you say four and A'? Half 'I?
[00:23:30] CHELSEY DONN: 'I said four and A' half. 'cause 'I feel like there's A'. Lot of queenly information here. 'I learned that 'I could use A' machine, uh, in the D M V if 'I needed to 'I know exactly what I'm stepping into in terms of expectation and why 'I need to make an appointment and all of those things. And 'I think Carrie did A'.
Really good job of communicating all that in A' clear way. So that was why 'I went with four and A' Half Crowns. 'I took off A' Half Crown also because of the R comment. Thought was A'. Little bit intense. The OSHA. Maybe was A' joke in there, but 'I didn't really get it. A'. Hundred percent. And 'I really love my review Queens to have that extra element of humor or captivating ness, if that's A' word.
So that was why 'I went with four and A' half, but nearly A', Review, Queen. And really good job Carrie and 'I. Don't think I'll be going to the Van Nuys D M V anytime soon, if 'I can avoid it.
[00:24:18] TREY GERRALD: Yeah, 'I heard. All right, well good job ChelseyBD. That was
[00:24:21] CHELSEY DONN: Thanks. Yeah, '
[00:24:22] TREY GERRALD: I. Love A'. Random two star. 'cause you never know what you're gonna get.
[00:24:26] CHELSEY DONN: Right, exactly. Two stars are, are not as, not very common. So always excited to find one. And with that excitement in mind, Trey 'I, think we've officially reached the most regal portion of our show. 'I would love to know who you are inducting for.
[00:24:44] VOICEOVER: My Royal line is,
[00:24:46] TREY GERRALD: All right, so I'm really proud of myself for this. So 'I in all of my travel upset, the most remarkable, amazing experience. Finally happened and 'I know that 'I have previously complained about this on the show. ChelseyBD 'I had my very first experience doing mobile app ordering of Starbucks at an airport 'I.
[00:25:12] CHELSEY DONN: Wow.
[00:25:13] TREY GERRALD: At Newark Liberty International in good old New Jersey, this brand new terminal that just opened, they have A' Giant Starbucks that's literally in the very center, and they accept mobile ordering ChelseyBD.
[00:25:27] CHELSEY DONN: That's so cool.
[00:25:29] TREY GERRALD: 'I literally was in and out in less than four minutes. 'I have never had A' more pleasant coffee experience, and 'I will tell you it was bustling.
Like the roped off stanchions was completely full. Three. Swivel S'S through. So it's not that they like were slow and 'I was the only one ordering 'I literally saw that it was actually
[00:25:52] CHELSEY DONN: so
[00:25:52] TREY GERRALD: A' mobile order. They had so many people working in the back, 'I could not believe it because they never have mobile ordering as an option at airports.
So I'm hoping that this is A' sign that like the world is shifting and moving forward and that other.
[00:26:11] CHELSEY DONN: great.
[00:26:12] TREY GERRALD: Airports will start doing this. Have you ever mobile ordered at an airport?
[00:26:15] CHELSEY DONN: Never, and that would be such A', 'I. Don't even go to Starbucks at an airport because I'm immediately intimidated by the line and I'm like, you know what? Everyone else in that line needs Starbucks more than 'I do. Like, I'm not even gonna get
into that fight. It's not even worth it.
[00:26:30] TREY GERRALD: it was so remarkable. And whoever, like 'I,
[00:26:35] CHELSEY DONN: 'I am literally gonna do that the next time 'I go to Newark.
I'm gonna see if 'I can do mobile ordering from the one in my terminal.
[00:26:42] TREY GERRALD: God. It was such A' game change. It was so slick and fast. And imagine if 'I had been at that terminal instead of the Charlotte terminal. And 'I could have ordered 'I. Could have perused before 'I even got up outta my seat.
[00:26:55] CHELSEY DONN: you would've gotten yourself like A' cake pop just to like reward yourself for dealing with the hell of the airport experience. Oh
[00:27:03] TREY GERRALD: mean such, A' 'I know it's such A'. Silly, silly thing. But you know, 'I do operate with Starbucks and Dunking Donuts by doing mobile ordering like in my normal daily life. So the fact that it's never turned on as an option at airports has always been very frustrating, and it actually exists now in this new terminal.
So of course, 'I like immediately. Pulled out my phone and wrote it in my notes app to induct this because whoever is responsible for this decision at this new terminal at Newark Liberty International Airport, you, you are definitely My Royal, Highness. You deserve all of the accolades. You are truly A', Queen, 'I.
I'm like, 'I. Literally had my coffee in my hand within four minutes. It was the most epic experience ever. Little did 'I know 'I was walking into A' true nightmare on the other side of that trip. But regardless where in the happy time now. So ugh, mobile ordering at airports. Get into it everyone. You're My, Royal, Highness.
[00:28:00] CHELSEY DONN: Yes, this is so funny. Rebe, you'll say Next week when 'I have my induction, it's sort of similar, which is
just the way that we operate, but 'I am so happy that that worked out. At least one leg of your flight was was somewhat enjoyable,
[00:28:17] TREY GERRALD: exactly.
[00:28:18] CHELSEY DONN: but that really does take us full circle, so
thanks for that induction.
[00:28:22] TREY GERRALD: Well, thank
[00:28:23] CHELSEY DONN: was great.
[00:28:23] TREY GERRALD: Thank you for receiving that induction 'I.
[00:28:25] CHELSEY DONN: Always.

[00:29:11] CHELSEY DONN: Okay.
[00:29:12] TREY GERRALD: for Chipotle.
[00:29:14] CHELSEY DONN: All right. Or as my mom calls it, Chipotle
[00:29:18] TREY GERRALD: Chipotle. So if you wanna find out what made ChelseyBD say,
[00:29:24] CHELSEY DONN: 'I 'I. Almost wanna the call on the air and ask if there's A' Lucy that works at this location, and to find out what made Trey say.

[00:30:39] CHELSEY DONN: The show kind of like was brought to you by coffee when you think about it, that's like A' thread.
[00:30:43] TREY GERRALD: Right. 'cause Carrie had to pee from the coffee.
[00:30:46] CHELSEY DONN: That's right.
[00:30:46] TREY GERRALD: 'I feel like D M V should have coffee makers. Yeah.
[00:30:50] CHELSEY DONN: 'I. Think so too. That would be nice. It'd be nice if really they had anything to make the experience more enjoyable.
[00:30:57] TREY GERRALD: Although, I'll tell you, when all of this was happening at the airport, it is really scary when chaos starts happening and people start screaming and like demanding, like,
[00:31:07] CHELSEY DONN: And people are their worst selves at the airport. 'I.
[00:31:10] TREY GERRALD: 'I the dmv, like 'I can imagine if there was just A' hot coffee, like someone could be scald.
[00:31:16] CHELSEY DONN: Oh, you're right. Maybe it's like A' liability.
[00:31:18] TREY GERRALD: Oh, ew.
[00:31:19] CHELSEY DONN: Good point.
[00:31:21] TREY GERRALD: All right, one more on the after show. Bye
[00:31:23] CHELSEY DONN: Bye.
